Brotogeris jugularis

During our October Costa Rica trip we saw many flocks of these Orange-chinned Parakeets but it turned out to be a bit of a tough bird to get an up-close photo of. This photo was from our best photo opp of the trip for this species. It is a little frustrating when you keep seeing a bird over and over again without being able to photograph it so getting this shot was extra nice.
