A church compound in one of the nearby towns. Although it looks old, the date on the front of the building is only 1959. The war made everything seem older, even the people.
I have a picture of this church! Amazing to see here. My dad was there. That is why I have the picture. Grateful to all of you who served. My dad passed in 2017 “service related”, agent orange. Course, he never knew that until after he passed when I made the connection & it was granted as cause. Pisses me off..I hope all of you find all the benefits you are entitled & that it may make life a bit easier for you.. your family’s. Consider if you have not already looking into this. My dad never applied while alive. Never spoke about the war in country. Did not have medical coverage from the VA..though had he known I am not certain he would have cared. I just feel like his last years could have been easier on him..had he known.
