The locals here have little interest in historic preservation.
In the few years I've been here numerous historic artifacts have been destroyed.
I can see the remnants and ghosts of about 6 Coca Cola signs on the sides of buildings.
This is the only one that has not been defaced.
It's what remains of the original painted in the late 50s
