Sky Lines

Shot yesterday evening. Yeah, another sunset ;) but it was so wonderfully pink I have to share it with you all. I like how the exposure came out so it lends itself nicely to this challenge. I wouldn't have changed anything about it.

Lovely color to those contrails Techo and the inclusion of the tree does ground it and turns the contrails into leading lines! :-) CJ

I like how you oriented the vapor trails so that they seem related to the tree. John

Looks like we should have a vapor trails topic. This is a winner. -tv

Pretty good example for converging lines, Techo! and the colors are just fabulous here! The pink is very natural. I am so glad that you decided to keep this as is (not just for the challenge) I believe not all photos need PP, and here is a good example of that. :)

Thanks for your comments folks. Yes those are jet trails that caught me eye. Used the tree on the right to ground the shot.

I saw this posted yesterday on my screen at work and I liked the design of the lines a lot but it wasn't until I viewed it at home where the calibration is correct that I saw the lovely colors! Nice photo.

Terrific colors, nice lines and a strong composition in all its simplicity, imo: The funny little treetop in the corner livens this up just righ - fluffy dark earthling right there in the brightest area :) I'll have to experiment more with color settings in the 20D..
