When I started this project, I had no idea where it was going. I created the flames by putting some water in a pie tin and then floating a thin layer of lighter fluid on that. I discovered that if you have too much lighter fluid, it will just make a regular looking fire. Use too little, and it won't light. Somewhere in between it makes cool shapes. I snapped over 100 frames, but this final image is the product of only four of them.
