It is a long time since I did biology. Too late to retake it now. The light has gone and I'm at work tomorrow. I had the ISO set to 1600, I can't think why!

That is the stigma Pete but I think if you took this again with better lighting so you could get a faster shutter and better focus, this would come out sharper. And maybe with brighter lighting you could lower the ISO so you could reduce the noise in the picture too. I love these lilies and this would be a great entry if you can try again under better conditions. Good composition on this and I like the shallow DOF! CJ
