I dont know which one is uglier.
The squalid slum, where the poor fight the fate to survive?
Or the characterless concrete chaos, where the rich pretentiously compete to occupy higher floors.

Brent, you have very sharp memory. Yes, its the same location/time.
Kevin, Its the area called Pawai in Mumbai (Bombay), India. The towers in the background are "Hiranandani Towers".
I am glad this photograph was able to provide the intended social commentary. -Abstract

Wow - good opposite captured in two different classes. I would rather be in the 'country'. It does make you think hard of the social classes. Where is this taken at?

Quite a moving image Abstract. I think you once posted one of a little boy behind a fence in poverty that was also quite moving- was that taken in the same location?

Ugly is the society that allows such a dichotomy...
