Hey folks, thanks for your comments.
Rod and pfehlauer, I wanted that much empty space to relay the feeling of a
person with nothing to do but to watch the clock ticking their lives away.

It's possible that by cropping most of the right side out that it would look quite good as a vertical with the empty space working better. Very good idea mate.

I find the idea great, excellent. It's just a little bit too empty to me, though.

Good Job Dave. Its simplicity is what make this one so powerful. Time ticking away, 1 second at a time... neat. -Cat

Thanks for your comments. At first I was offended about it being a drawing,
now I'm thinking of it a complement.

Strong image. The simplicity is very effective. (Your explanation about this not being a drawing was necessary for me, too, I was in doubt like aam. The original gives evidence).

Perfect Dave, the individual seconds ticking away are bang on topic and matches exactly with the opening bars of the track Time on the lp with it's cacophony of clocks. I really like the composition too with the dial in the far left corner and the large expanse of white.

Paul

I was wrong, it was a six second exposure.

5 second exposure of a battery operated clock.
The face cut out and placed on to a white background.
If photoshop is not allowed, I'll remove it from the challenge.

That's more like a drawing than a photo (me think).
