It is sharper by a bit but it's losing its color because of the increased contrast. Unfortunately you aren't going to be able to make it sharp in the bigger size b/c the focus was not right when you took the picture. It's just one of those instances where you've just got to kick yourself... HARD! It's truly just killer that something so great can't be viewed at a larger size. My suggestion would be to just keep the final image smaller b/c the quality of the small one is so utterly fantastic. IMO, better to appreciate the perfection of the small image than to lose the quality of the larger. Honestly it's heartbreaking that this happened. It is a top rate, unbeatable character portrait. They don't get better than this (just more in focus! LOL!). It just really hurts. Yes, the big one is nice, but most definitely out of focus. The little one is just so darned mind blowing. At that size, it is absolutely one of the finest, if not the finest, image ever entered into the challenge. ~ Lonnit

OK - I sharpened some parts still a bit more and also increased the contrast a tad - now happy?

Can you sharpen this up a little bit? It looks PHENOMONAL in the thumbnail but I was sadly disappointed in the larger size. Actually, sitting here writing this I've got the little one on the screen and it's just unbelievably fantastic!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!! ~ Lonnit
