Lee, I think your B&Ws are great. Would you share with us your process?

LOL. Thanks Philo. theFly

Interesting take on the topic, Lee. Nice photo. "I'm ready for my closeup now, Mr. DeMille." - Philio Vance

Ah yes the timer. I tried that, but with using spot metering for the photo, I kept losing my sweat spot. Then the picture would get overexposed. theFly

I just lost my remote a few days ago. Hopefully here at home. btw, remember you can set the timer to 10 secs also.

LOL. Good point Nugar. Not exactly hands free. I had to hit the remote and put it down and raise my hands in 2 seconds. theFly

But actually, this shows what our capable little camera can do in the right hands. Even hand-free! Go G3!

Hey Lee, your camera sure takes nice shots! LOL (I get so mad when someone says that. I just tell them: "Here, you take one").

Thanks Rod and Melissa! I drove around town all day yesterday between shopping trying to find something that was framed. So I ended up just using my hands. theFly

Well done Lee you're getting some really nice tones in the last couple of B&W shots. This works really well.

fly, I love this shot. obviously you nailed the "frame" concept, the b&w really looks great here, works with the light and shadows. The light is good. nicely done!

I like the composition, and in my opinion, that’s the best unique framing shot so far. Kind of funny, cause I was actually doing that last night, not the same composition though, I was framing objects with my hands, but it didn’t look appealing, and I worried that people may not know what that meant. Your shot is great.

This shot, in black and white, takes me back to the early movie days when directors walked around framing shots with their hands, I don’t think a color shot would have the same impact as this one. Good job!!
