Lee, I greatly recommend the same slave flashes I bought. They can really help on shots like this and spend less electricity, a very important pint here in Panama, where it is too expensive :o\ The one I bought is this one:http://www.camerastore.com/dl_cat_E/-E03_acslave.html

Rich, I went to the photography department at Home Depot and bought a 500 watt halogen light. They were giving them away at only $8.99. Also the surrounding lights of my kitchen were on. theFly

Lonnit, No hidden meanings. If I make it any brighter it really starts to get noisy. The picture was taken at ISO 400. This gets very noisy for a G3.
Rod, There was no sutter lag. I prefocus the shot then dropped the blueberry. Not doing this I would get only a picture of my hand picking the blueberry up or a flat pond. Wopuld love to get a DSLR for Xmas. I hope Santa is keeping watching this challenge. 8-)
Jim, I was really a matter of doing it over and over and over again. I got a lot of great splashes, but this was the best one with being able to see the blueberry.
