Thanks Nugar! I will check it out. I like the results you are getting with them so far. theFly

Lee, I greatly recommend the same slave flashes I bought. They can really help on shots like this and spend less electricity, a very important pint here in Panama, where it is too expensive :o\ The one I bought is this one:http://www.camerastore.com/dl_cat_E/-E03_acslave.html

Rich, I went to the photography department at Home Depot and bought a 500 watt halogen light. They were giving them away at only $8.99. Also the surrounding lights of my kitchen were on. theFly

Great shot Lee, can you tell me what your lighting was? Thanks.

Good shot!

Lonnit, No hidden meanings. If I make it any brighter it really starts to get noisy. The picture was taken at ISO 400. This gets very noisy for a G3.
Rod, There was no sutter lag. I prefocus the shot then dropped the blueberry. Not doing this I would get only a picture of my hand picking the blueberry up or a flat pond. Wopuld love to get a DSLR for Xmas. I hope Santa is keeping watching this challenge. 8-)
Jim, I was really a matter of doing it over and over and over again. I got a lot of great splashes, but this was the best one with being able to see the blueberry.

Thanks, Lee

Wow! I never thought the little G3 was capable of doing this. You're the G3 Master, Lee.

Fantastic shot!!! The splash is unbelievably great! I'm wondering how come you decided to leave the shot dark. Is there a hidden meaning I'm missing? ~ Lonnit
