It's only a Game

My Living Room - NJ

This is Part II of the Check-MATE one I just did. I thought of it while doing the first shot. After all it's already set up, I might as well try. The original Photo's is the blood, board and pieces. Alot of Photoshopping went into this one. Check-MATE took about 2 hours of Photoshop. This took about 8 hours. The effect is almost Ray-Traced.

Canon PowerShot Pro90 IS
1/15s f/8.0 at 14.8mm (35mm equivalent: 173mm) full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Wow. This is very awesome. I love it! Kudos! I have recently started experimenting with the a student edition of photoshop, it's been very fun for me. Your ideas are very inspiring.

The police line started as a web graphic line seperator. It was mushed to fit the area with liquify in ps7. I couldn't get it to look totally real. i stretched it in areas, made it transparent, tied it to cones - and remembered to flip the tape upside down. it worked well enough in my opinion. i suppose it could be better, but i had no reference for it, which made it harder. almost everything in there is a clipart element that i had to rework.

Love it, nice idea and very nicely done
except the police line looks very fake.
If its a layer I'd make a very slight
"stroke" in black to make it look
as crisp and realistic as the rest
of the image
