Morning Spritz

Redmond, Washington

Beautiful sunrise this morning and thought it would be neat to combine the spray from my sprinkler head with the sunrise. I took about 20 pictures, and this was my favorite. Though not sure it's as good as it could be. Should the focus be on the sprinkler head or the sunrise? I figured if it was on the sunrise then what's the point of haveing the sprinkler head in there? Plus it wouldn't be "off-Center". The only way I could get any detail on the sprinkler head was with the flash, but that ruined the rest of the shot.

love the perspective here, and the sky is just so pretty! Neat shot :)

Yes, it was handheld. I think my next purchase will be a tripod though. I was thinking of getting one of those "little" ones that you can easily carry around with you. Glad you like the picture! Jason

BTW - I really like this, my girlfriend likes it too (well done - she doesn't like my pics!) Presumably you did it handheld?

Jason, did you do stuff to it in Photoshop or other imaging tool ? They can strip the EXIF data off. I use EXIFER (search for it on google) which allows you to 'grab' the EXIF data into a processed image from your original source image, remove thumbnails etc. (which helps with size). Hope this helps. Paul D.

Why didn't the exif info show up on this picture? Thanks, Jason

IMHO the focus needs to be where you put it, on the sprinkler.
