The motion blur forces us to ignore the people and focus on the art. Well done. -COAmature

I don't know what I was thinking... these are most probably paintings on Papyrus. I don't think they have Egyptian tapestries at the Metropolitan Museum. Penny Street

Tapestries? These are the ancient Egyptians' normal paper sizes. Like our A4 and A3 :)

aam - I think the built in tripod was a little cabinet in the corner that I rested the camera on. I think. Either that or I used the wall. I probably had the WB set for tungsten light. I thought about adjusting the yellow, but I decided it kind of fits with the tapestries. Penny Street

Love the sense of movement here, though WB is a tiny bit off (yes, WB is a bigy to me :) ) What I'd like to know is, how did you keep everything sharp, except moving people, at 1/6th of a second. You must have a built-in tripod or something :)

Hmmm. A different kind of busy - literal but effective combination of animate and inanimate. -tv

This was the Egyptian Gallery and yes, they're tapestries. I was walking through here on my way to see photographs by Rudy Burckhardt
