Caroles far too young to remember that camera Tom:-)

I can plainly feel her shyness & embarrassment.
That being said, I confess I have a weakness for square format. Probably because my first camera (1972?) was a Kodak X-15 that used 126 cartridge film (square format). It can be difficult to work with & not for everything.

Nicely done in B/W

If you had a distracting window frame on the left you should have got off your bum & taken a few steps to your left to eliminate the window frame from the background. Being lazy or drunk is no reason not to frame picys properly in camera. When I'm lazy & drunk I still frame properly & all me picys need is a rotate to get rid of the Flickr tilt:-) Anyhow seeing as though this was a quick grab shot I will forgive you for making me look at a luvly looking girl in a square crop..........Just this once:-)

We were sitting at the dinner table with glasses, bottles, dishes etc still on the table and I just grabbed my camera and snapped a few pictures. I took this in landscape mode to eliminate those distractions and while the window frame in the left background wasn't "awful", I decided I liked it cropped out better. So whether you realize it or not, I did frame this candid shot! :-D CJ

Hate to say it but I agree with Rod here (about framing the shot).
Rod 29-Aug-2008 20:34
You shouldn't have uninteresting things in the frame when you compose wiv the camera. It's too hard to say how it should be taken wivout being there but I think you should be framing more carefully in camera. Taking a closer shot in the vertical would have made her the same size in the frame & would have given better bokeh. Then again you like square crops..........Your a weirdo:-)

Rod, I like square crops and they look great framed up, besides there's nothing interesting on the left to warrant including it in the image, as a matter of fact it was distracting. :-) CJ

Nicely done megirl you caught the shyness just right. But why the square crop? Geez I don't like em.

We know that (hiding her braces). Don't ruin it for us, CJ. Btw, is she Swedish/Nordic.
ctfchallenge28-Aug-2008 23:41
Thanks aam and Armin! She's hiding her braces but is a lovely young lady even with them in full view! :-) CJ
