That's strange Carole your first linky makes me logon before I can view the picy, it shows it in Pending. But when I don't logon & go to Pending it only shows one of your picys, I don't know how it does that. You did a great job of cloning but wivout the sexy potting mix the plastic box will have to go too. One of the reasons I like this colour lighting is it covers for the slight miss focus & makes the softness on Josh & Laura work better. One other thing, if you lived such a boring life as me you too would find a bag of potting mix really interesting:-)

PS Rod - You shouldn't have uninteresting or distracting things in your frame. :-D CJ

OK Rod, here's version2 without the bag - I'm not great at cloning or color correction though! :-D CJ

aam, we all have our preferances, these are just mine!
aam1234 29-Aug-2008 22:02
Personally, I prefer the original (this one).

I really like the expressions and the love shown here so I made a few changes to try to make it a little more "pleasing" (to me anyway!) See what you think Rod. Delete it at any time. :-D CJ

Thanks Carole & Aamm:-) Carole you can tell by this title that I don't like titles:-) Plus if the makers of the potting mix see this they will want to use the picy in their next advertising blitz. Just imaging this picy & the slogan " Improve your luv life & your garden...Use Gardeners Potting Mix" Or "Get down & dirty wiv your missus.....Use Gardeners Potting Mix" You never know they may even develop edible potting mix & sell it in those naughty adult shops:-)

Not too sure CJ. Imo, the bare feet, the bag, the pots on the right all make this photo look natural. Without the bag the photo will look staged (imo, of course). Cheers.

Rod, aren't you the one who didn't like titles on picys to have to explain what its about? If that's true, then this picture should stand on its own as a good portrait without having to explain why that ugly bag of potting mix is in the picture - right? We can tell they're in a garden without it. I do like the bare feet though - how about testing your cloning skills and clone that bag out? :-D CJ

Thanks Tom:-) I think they were both looking at the sun but one of them must have crossed eyes:-)

Thanks Carole & JV:-) This was one of the reddest sunsets I've seen & Josh called me out to have a look. It was the afternoon I drove down the coast to pick up me new massive lenses. I thought the bag of potting mix added to the garden of Eden theme:-)

With cigarettes so taboo these days, it's oddly refreshing to see one in a photo (adds mood or something). The potting soil makes sense to me. I would like them looking in the same direction.

Nice light. I agree about doing something about the potting soil. - J.V.

Nice candid shot with great smiles, but how about a nice square crop to get rid of the bag of potting mix Rod? Is the color off a bit or is that the reflections of a setting sun? Wanky title indeed! :-D CJ

Josh smokes too much. Like father like son ;) Love the light and smiles here.
