Fog rising over Fort Flagler

Port Townsend, WA

Very unusual weather phenomenon.
Cool moist air moving left to right forms fog as it rises over Fort Flagler bluff on Port Townsend Bay.

Having spent most of my life on the Avalon Peninsula on the island of Newfoundland, I can appreciate some of the wonderous effects of fog over the land and sea. Although, sometimes constant fog for 3 or 4 weeks can get on your nerves and you go mad the first sunny day after it clears.

This is a particularly excellent photo.
