I wanted to capture some of the other pollinators on the Washington Hawthorn tree today, so I took out my 10' A-frame ladder
and was fortunate to spot and capture this tiny guy. At first I thought it was just something caught in a spider's web, twisting and turning
in the breeze, but when I focused the camera I saw it was this awesome little “long-legged fly” (Family - Dolichopodidae), just hovering near the flowers.
