Marsh Wren
Went to look for Cerulean and Prothonotary Warblers today.
Heard the Ceruleans singing and possibly caught a glimpse of one
high up in the canopy. Saw a Prothonotary fly out and away from us,
but had a decent look at the beautiful golden yellow. The Marsh Wren
is a small bird, but with a lot of attitude. He was singing away
and I was lucky to catch him in the cattails.
Other birds we saw today were Black Terns, another American Bittern
in flight, as well as a Least Bittern in flight.
