Thank you Nico, Lee, Mickey, Markjay and Melanie for the gracious words! Nico, you answered your own question :) + The kiwi I chose was not fully ripe and was little on the firm side, so the inside green color was not well saturated. I choose firm as it can be sliced much thiner than a ripe one. Also thinner the slice, less saturated are the translucent colors. So overall it looked desaturated to start with. Mark and Melanie, I agree with both of you and it always felt so to me too :) -Cat
