Thanks Cindy, Victor and Traveller! Victor, I did notice the shimmer effect while I was editing this! Maybe it's because of the contrast in color and distance of the balloon from the background, but it was weird! And Traveller, I also was reminded of "The Red Balloon" when I saw this! :-) CJ

Ohhhh, the Color diferentials...the color gradations on the balloon....the reminder of the famous movie, The Red Balloon....great shot CJ. Best Wishes, Traveller

Very nice, picture. Does anyone else see this interesting optical illusion? When my eyes wander around the grey areas of the picture, I sometimes see a sort of shimmer on the balloon. -- Victor
