And I fibbed about the camera ... it was my 1D Mk II N
This was inspired by Russell Drysdale's "The Drover's Wife"
However the subdued colours and rough brush strokes gave way to bright 'luminous' colours and a more 'realism' portrait... I liked it better that way!
I tried a number of filter effects but they did not suit in my opinion. So this was the final result. I added the tree to help guide the eyes along the leading lines to the endless dry and sunburned countryside... the struggle of a modern day farmer.
