I rotated the horizon a bit and cropped the bottom. I think it's better, thanks for the suggestions.

It does come across, strongly. But look at it like this: if it had a really clear point of focus about 1/3rd down from the top, it would actually emphasise that sense of movement by contrasting it against the static. Tim

Thank you for the comments. I'll have to keep an eye on my horizons. I've had comments both ways about the composition and whether it should be cropped. In real life, the flow was quite violent and I wanted that to come across.

I agree with the foregoing - a potentially very good shot but it needs a more certain point of focus and a horizon realignment. Tim

I find there is too much area with motion blur in the foreground. It actually gives me a headache to look at it. If you cut out a good part of the blurred water, IMHO it would be a better composition -- pegasus

Great shot, Dave! You have done a good job depicting the rushing of the water. It almost looks like we are flying over it. This might be helped a bit by having the horizon leveled. Welcome to the challenge, we look forward to seeing more of your work! ~Sharon
