Kelly, thanks for making the color version so easily accessible for comparison. I gotta tell you that it's everything I remembered. For me, the color is the stronger of the two versions. The red of the steps forms a primary pattern and the scaffold against blue sky has a clearer juxtaposition with the scaffold and its shadows against the wall. Just one man's opinion, lovely image either way. -Michael

Kelly, any chance of a link to the original color version? While I'm a mega fan of b&w, I'm remembering that the color version had some special things happening which I really liked and I'd like to see the color version again for comparison (could be a faulty memory on my part...over 50, ya know). I like this piece, really fine patterns in both the scaffold and the shadows. -Michael

Howdy Bruce (and a cordial nod to Lee). I've taken Lee's suggestion while fulfilling Bruce's request and believe that the file size is now compliant. Thanks for the B&W suggestion and the tipoff about the pudgy file. - Kelly

I like this one. Have you tried it in B&W? It would have been good for the shadow contest. theFly
