I know it's a gruesome sight, seeing beheaded flowers but, I was experimenting with light and shadows that day, so the flowers became the guinea pigs :-)

Excellent black and white treatment - it's got that silvery sheen to it! Thought I was looking at long-haired women from above and behind - the petals looked like hair in the thumbnail. --Olaf.dk
