This might indeed be stretching the definitions too far... :-)
I guess it's doubtful if toads have feelings of love.
However, you can always interpret the image symbolically.

Thanks everyone! This shot was a bit of a fluke, I was on my way home for the day when I saw something floating on the water. It was quite dark so I used the flash for this and it turned out better than I hoped for. And yes - male toads do prefer a good sized female. :-)

I agree on all counts. In the thumbnail you can't tell there are two frogs... but on closer inspection. He likes his ladies big! ;) Ann

I love this shot. Do toads have feelings of love? Probably not in a traditional sappy romantic cliche sense, but IMO love exists on many levels throughout everything in the universe...wart-covered toads included. Thanks for sharing the cool image.
