The reason I liked this image (once I cropped it) was I thought all of the players' eyes drew me toward the ball entering the net. To be honest, I wasn't sure it would work, but I thought I'd post it and see. The busy-ness of the net interferes quite a bit, and I can see how all the different elements could be confusing. Maybe if lacrosse were played with a bigger ball?!

what is the subject of this image? i try to focus on the goalie but the net is in the way. i am drawn to the woman on the right but she isn't doing anything...i want to like this but i think it would have been more successful from the other side of the net. or with shallower DOF so that the goalie was crisp and the net blurry. good exposure and focus though.
