Add my name to the list of fans of this image. Give your wife a gold star for having a great eye. This definitely does say movement even though not a thing is moving in this image. I can picture all those planed touching down at this spot. Very cool. Ann C

I agree. This is a really cool image! Totally static, yet it makes you feel like you're moving...very fast! It just makes me want to get on a plane and go somewhere!

Hey Joe... (I always think of Jimi Hendrix when I say that)
Actually this is at a Marine Air Station in Beaufort SC. When my family an I was walking across one of the runways (on the way back to the car), I almost fell over from being dizzy when I looked dow the runway. The patterns created by the landing gear's tires made it looked like the gound was moving. My wife said "that looks like movement for your challenge thingy". Thanks for the comments.
