This is a photograph of a homeless man, actually he is one of a group of lepers who live on the streets and are usually found begging for money/food. Today being a national holiday here in India (Republic Day), and the winter sun providing much needed warmth, the group was sitting around and basking in the sun. I asked him if I could take his photograph and he obliged. Inspite of the conditions he was living under, he was smiling and joking and the eyes had that never-say-die sparkle......
