Superb!! I get the feeling of fresh, action, color, and a "it just happened" feel as well.
In fact, I'm getting wet just looking at it! lol Images like this, are a fresh reminder (no pun) that it's the mind of the photographer that makes all the difference... not just the expense of your equipment :-) Mark J

Very nicely done. I specially like the metalic look of the droplets. If only it had been Darryl Hannah instead of pepper...

Nice image but looks pretty straight forward.
I would say the item was in the glass to start with and then something dropped into the glass to cause the splash.....ice perhaps.

I agree with what everyone has said about this picture, it is fantastic. But... It's just a bit out of kilter. It needs about 1 degree right rotation to level out the top of the glass, a very minor flaw at best!

OK, we're all dying to get the story of how you did it! Please!!! >|< Olaf

Excellent. Lighting, clarity, composition, timing, color contrast between subject and everything else. It gots it all. Splendid. In one 460x660 installment, you just reminded me how far I have to go as a photog. As iso notes below, you just raised the bar. Again: Shplendid. --Joe Reilly

A wonderful studio shot, gets my vote so far. What lighting were you using?

Absolutely brilliant. Great piece of photography. Comp, colour, action - it's all there. Take note people - this is what you're up against.
