Irene Doherty was the daughter of Rae (Rachel) Doherty (Lancaster). Rae's husband died when Irene was just
a few months old. Rae later married Bob Mitchell. Ernest McDonald was the son of Alfred McDonald and his
first wife, Julia Gilligan, who died around 1910 or so. Ernest was born Dec. 5, 1906.
