Jane Thompson was one of the Lancaster family - sister of Esther McDonald (Lancaster).
Jane's husband, George Thompson, died during WWI. George is a couple of other photos in this gallery.
Marian Kay used to visit Aunt Jane and says that she liked to do crafs such as decoupage.
She used to save the artwork from seed packets and decoupage them onto bottles for vases.
She also kept scrapbooks. One was on anything to do with the Royal Family.
The other was rather odd -- she saved clippings of crime stories -- which seemed a little
incongruous to Marian.
