Stream Cruiser -- Didymops transversa --male -- eating a damselfly (detail)
Didymops transversa
found along trail near portage between Loon Lake and Hogg's Bay.
It picked up a Bluet damselfly and carried it to its perch on a branch,
then ate it in less than a minute.
