Agriope aurantia with its nest

In oldfield garden on east side of farm. This photo was taken on the following evening after the spider was observed building her nest.

Wonderful galleries you have! I was happy to see this photo as I discovered one of these nests in a pine tree in my yard and wasn't sure what it was. There was a large Garden Spider in a web nearby but I never thought it was a spider nest.
