grazing the Knapp

The Knapp, although 100 meters lower than Merbach Hill, is the best viewpoint on the walk. Starting along the bridleway from the top of the 1in4 hill on the road up from Bredwardine, go straight up from the field gate where the track goes off right. However you need to come back down and follow the lower field edge to proceed
