I am descended from the McMillans and McLeans that lived in Arichonan at the time of the highland clearances in 1848. After they were evicted my ancestors came and made a new life for themselves in Canada. Thank you for posting this photo. Maybe someday I will go there myself and walk where my ancestors lived.
