Portrait in Painter

This is the same one as before done over in Painter 11. I think this approach is better. What do you all think?

I agree with liking the textural face...nice work overall. Background color harmonizes nicely with the portrait.

I'd like to see this one 80 feet tall with the caption for the ad to recycle your scrap gold. If there is such a thing as scrap gold. Blood gold that is!!! Yes I like this approach as it has an over all consistency and painterly approach to a soft edged face, guess we'd say soft focus in Photography.

As a painting, this really succeeds--the intense gaze is still the cogent feature; the painterly texture brings it out of the cultural world and into the world of art.

I like the clarity of the previous one and love the texture on the face in this one. It is a toss up for me. They are both really great, Laurie.--skunk
