So over spring break I didn't do much, but at least got a few things done-- bleached my hair again to prepare for the blue I shall put in, and discovered the Easter Eggs on the Cure Greatest Hits DVD! How s-l-o-w am I, I've had that DVD for a year... oh, and I heard that Mumia's getting another hearing! hoo-ray! Huzzah +_+

Gosh, I´m on a total Cure Trip again... The 2 Concerts I just saw are so amazing that I´m actually crazy enough to think about flying to New York!!! Ahhhhhhhhh

Why would we just stop liking The Cure? Even if in 20 years from now I stop listening to The Cure it doesn't change the fact that they were a huge influence on my life. It takes dedicated music fans to understand where I'm coming from, and I'm gonna take it that the person under me is not a huge music fan. Its not like The Cure has only put out one album! duh! Yay to all with Cure tattoos!

I really like some of the Cure tattoos shown here. I like tattoos and always wanted to have one. However I’m happy I haven’t done any. The reason is that I’ve changed a lot and my tastes changed with me. Ten years ago I wanted to have the Doors tattoo. Then there were a lot of other bands I was in love with and still am. By now (at the age of 29), my body would look like the music encyclopedia with all my favourite bands represented on it. I keep them in my HEART not on my skin (or I got them under my skin). But I must admit I envy those who had courage to do it. There are so many mistakes I HAVEN’T done in my life!!! Sometimes I hate my being so reasonable.

The fact that we have committed our skin to something we love is not trendy. We made a decision to stare at these images for the rest of our life and it's an extremely passionate decision. Tattoos are hardly a trend, as they date back to the 5th century bc, and are still being worn today. In the Pazyryk and ancient Egyptian cultures, tattoos were believed to denote social status, and/or to identify people with the particular gods/goddesses they worshipped. I encourage you to look in to the history of tattooing, its quite interesting, and it could perhaps open your mind a bit.

actually Robert gets really happy. At least he was excited when i asked him to sign my arm under my cure tatts...and then when i got to meet him again in august he remembered me and asked to see the tatt of his signature...he was quite happy and far from skiddish. He paused and waited for me to unbotton my long sleeve shirt which i was having trouble with. he patiently waited for nearly a min. while he had people screaming for him all around.
