This is the photo I thought was going to be today's picture as I was taking it: http://www.pbase.com/image/34168610
It just didn't come out quite as I intended and I liked this one better.
Oh, the title? Yeah.
Stupid. Fat. Sheep.
As I was whining about yesterday, the cloud formations were truly fantastic and I was caught without my camera, standing there empty-handed and practically blubbering up at the sky (in a parking lot, no less -- hey, why keep the madness at home?) because it was so beautiful.
Great ostrich plumes of clouds here, shimmering layers of gold and silver silk there, textured ripples of mauve and rose over there...
I was hoping -- hoping that some of that would carry over into today's skies.
No.
Today it was the photography gods wagging their finger at me: "I hope you learned your lesson. Never abandon your camera."
Crud. Now I know they'll be watching me.
The only thing in the skies today was a scraggly flock of stupid fat sheep, grazing boringly in their blue pasture.
