Hi Leah, thanks again for your astute commments, the effect is derived from the combination of a low shutter speed and panning the camera, necessary because of the poor lighting conditions during a rainfall at dusk. I am glad you like it. Cheers, Dave.

Dave, although this photo is not in focus...it makes it that much better. You can feel the motion of the moose as they hurry across the river zone.
