It is lovely shot, but it does indeed shows some spots, although they almost disappear in the clouds.

You have to check it after cleaning with a test shot on a white wall or something similar. A few years ago, I assumed mine was clean after I cleaned it; only to find a hair on all my shots on that day!

I'd take it back and make them do it again. I clean mine myself all the time. I don't trust anyone else.

Oh darn it! Time for you to buy from Copperhill and try their cleaning method.

LOL@Walter!!! There's quite a few of those UFO things in shot - best you take it back and get them to do it again!! Lovely shot by the way :o)

I have little or no dust problem on my Sony 700. They bragged on it's rugged build and weather/dust proofing and I have been amazed at how clean it stays... even with all the dust and sand here in Texas.

that would sure make me angry!
Inga Morozoff24-Oct-2009 19:05
Oh ohhhhh! Can you not clean the sensor yourself?

Beautiful seascape! Love the various textures and colors. Excellent!!! (even with the UFO)

Olympus is the answer! Sorry for your problems, I would hate it too! Nice place there!Do you live there?

Lovely scene, I guess we all get mystery dots on the sensors.
Walter Otto Koenig24-Oct-2009 17:34
Great catch, that's not a spot, it's a UFO. :)
I have the same problem too. My camera seems to be a dust magnet.
