Grand Duchess Tatiana Nikolaevna Romanova

1897 - 1918
The second born of the four girls. She was probably the most genuine member of the group. She took the lead role in all of the girl's requests and problems. The eldest, Olga, didn't seem to mind Tatiana taking the leadership role. She seemed to have the strong backbone of her Tsar grandfathers. During their brief stay at Yekaterinburg, she would go downstairs and quiz the communist commander, Yurovsky, with questions and requests. Had she lived, she would surely have made a royal lady.

The softness and glow adds such a warmth and feeling of life to this tragic figure. This series of images are so beautiful and so haunting. It is so easy to see them as people instead of just historical images in a history book. VVV+++

When i see your outstanding portraits and the way you have immortalized them in color, they look so real. .A sadness pervades releasing how their lives were cut short. "VVV"
