The Informal Transglobal Thursday Challenge as developed by Lee and Bev was to shoot and post
No PS, except to resize

It turned out to be a lot harder than I thought

Right as I walked out of work I saw this cleome flower that is trying to survive the heat wave
I held the camera real close, in macro mode . . and the lens immediately fogged up

After being in A/C all day, the 101º F heat created condensation
I rather liked the effect

I actually dig the fog effect! Very nicely done. I think you should remember that trick for future efforts as it has paid off well here.

I think its the fogging that makes the shot, looks like the old vasaline on the lens/softfocus trick!

Beautiful shot, Pete. Nice composition. I do like the misty effect. The old photographers used to blow on their lenses to get this effect!

This is quite good..like the folded petals. My hat is off to you..being that I am addicted to photoshop I could not make it through without doing something.
