And you were REALLY something if you had a 250 drive . . . .

Yeh, I do remember these! I even remember tape back ups. :) Hey, I'd rather have one of these than try to copy photos onto CDs which takes forever and then the CDs have a limited life span.

Strangely, this was one phase I missed completely, as gadget hooked as I am. I guess, it never took off in India, and by the time I came to the US, it was fading with the advent of DVD writers and memory cards. Maybe I'll shoot a similar one with floppy disks, if I can find any. :)

I think I still have 10-12 100mb discs laying around somewhere. I remember when my portable drive took a poop, I was so crushed and immediately ordered an internal to replace it.
