GUESS WHAT THIS IS?

They are called Twiglets

It's a crispy snack similar I suppose to potato stix but they have bits of marmite on them
So they have a bit of a 'bite' to them

Our British Dentist went home for a while

I asked him to bring back pictures of his family, of his home . . . .
the house, the woods, the long narrow drive to his home . . .
London
Cornwall
Places and things and people

Not one picture came back from the UK

BUT . . . . he DID bring back some English comfort food
Recognize that snack??

Here are some other pictures of the treats I received
Thanks, Commander

He suggested the Twiglers would be best eaten with a nice evening beverage

I think they went well with wine and grilled tuna =)

And this represents British AND American Comfort foods

For those who love Marmite and want to know more, follow this linkhttp://www.ilovemarmite.com/default.asp Having tried a number of the pretenders ['foreign' recipe marmite and Vegimite etc.] I have to say that Burton-on-Trent Marmite is definitely the best.
Is that right you don't have Creme Eggs or Twiglets? Poor you, hope you have a pet Brit to fix your cravings with a regu;ar supply. We have a contract to supply 'Smarties' to a Texan friend

You mean you don't have Creme Eggs or Marmite either? How do you survive?
