26 APR 05 DESIGNER DOVE

A local nursery made a few hanging baskets for me this year
The one on the front porch has become a nest for a dove
She set up housekeeping right in the middle . . we had no idea she was there
Until today when watering and spinning the basket, he noticed her . . .
tucking her head down and hoping it would stop
I figure after a spin in the basket with a good drenching,
she either figured it to be the spin cycle or a really bad theme park ride

Congrats! You're going have a baby. Looking forward to seeing if the ride really messed up his flying technique!

LOL. She seems to be taking it pretty well. Maybe she thought she was in a hurricane.

Faye took my line about the dove having good taste....I love that basket. I have wrens in a begonia on my front porch.

What a beautiful basket! This dove has good taste for nesting.... even if it does
go round and round every so often.

Watch out for vagrants who camp at your front door..... They''re harder to get rid of.

There is a saying "if a dove makes a nest at your house, you are blessed." You will have two beautiful baby doves soon. They're born with all their feathers, so keep a lookout and get a photo.

LOL @ the spin cycle crack. Fun discovery Pete. You and your birds. Well have to keep an eye out for this little mother's brood. Eh what?
