03 SEP 04 FARM

It's a small but picturesque farm near where I work

However I did not like the sky with the picture so I added one with more drama
If you look REALLLLY closely at the tree line
and at the front framing tree, you can tell that I edited it

First thing I thought when I saw this was "awesome clouds," so you definitely succeeded with me. Good call and good job.

Wow great Photoshop editing, I bow down to your artistry. This shot is so much nicer than the original.

The horizontal elements are very eye catching. Plus it is a beautiful landscape.

As for the framing tree being edited, I sure can't tell. I assume it was a little dark and you lightened it? But if you hadn't mentioned it, I wouldn't even be speculating on what you did. :) I would have thought it was part of the whole shot.

I like it too. It gives a nice sense of perspective.

Yes, the composite shot has muchmore drama and power. If you hadn't pointed out that this was digitally edited I never would have noticed. Nice job.

Seems to be the consensus, can't tell. Great job, Pete.

nice make over, sometimes you just got to teach the camera how it should be done :) getting it to do it is the next step

I can't tell either. I haven't a clue how to work photoshop. Maybe my son can teach me.

The 2nd Sky works for me, rather than the original! Nice work.

The change in the sky made a somewhat ordinary photo into a farm with a dramatic background. Nice job.
Faye White03-Sep-2004 17:58
Wow - what a neat scene! I never would have known that you added the sky - nice work. :)

I'd sure hate to be your insurance adjuster when you make a claim backed up by a photo. Nice piece of work.

Good job; why tell if you've PS'd it??? I'm trying to figure out what Naval Station this would be near??
Robin Reid03-Sep-2004 17:25
Hey Pete, you didn't need to 'fess up. Can't tell. Makes for both a buccolic scene and a dramatic one with the looming clouds. Nice.
penny roots03-Sep-2004 17:23
