Harrisons Fishing Pier

The old pier was an Oceanside favorite fishing and socializing spot for fifty years or more (Harrison's was built in 1947 by Harry R. Harrison) . . .
then in Sept 2003 Hurricane Isabel changed all that
Altho people still fish on the beach beside the pier

a family friend of mine owned harrison's pier until the hurricane.
