Negotiating a new car deal . . . I hate this . . . it's NEVER simple
I don't care what the car company ads say, there is ALWAYS haggling @_@

I agree Jeane . .I think they just go in a back room & laff at us!

No, Alex, I didn't get him to pose. He was so intent with the paper work, he did not notice I put the camera on the desk, pointed it in his general direction & snapped. It turned out better than I expected. Most everyone in the showroom just ASSSUMED I was taking pix of cars, which I was . . .sort of ^_^

Oh, Franziska . . . c'mon . .buying a car or go to the dentist. Easy decision - go to a movie! LOL! (I have to go to DDS every day) =P

Ugh, I feel for you. I don't know what's worse, buying a car or going to the dentist (and I'm petrified of dentists!). Congrats on the new purchase anyhow :)

Nice shot. Did you get him to pose!

Oh, how I hate this part of getting a car! The games they play...you know, there IS NO manager! They go into a room and watch you sweat it out on a video screen...and listen to what you say about them when they leave. At least that's what I think!! (paranoid much?)

Thanks Ray - it's nice to be back :D

Jill, you seem to enjoy the "hunt" . . I like to watch others do that part . . and my sweetie is pretty good at it . . .likes to go for the jugular! LOL!

Steve, how perceptive of you (using your magnifying glass again, I see LOL!) OF COURSE he had to talk to his mgr, who had to talk to his mgr, who had to contact her higher up . . but we (I mean HE) got the price I needed (actually I don't know the exact price, we negotiated on the monthly pmt & that significantly changed the walk-out-the-door price if yaknowwudimeanvern!?)

Lara, I had to laff - you thought what I thought . .this guy's just a BEBE . . .but he done good & I'll likely reward him with referrals.
Can't wait to take posession of my "Silver Lining" to this previous week =D

Getting a new Acura are we? Did this guy say he had to "talk to his sales manager?"
